Europe\\\'s leaders arrived in Brussels in an effort to tackle tax evasion and inappropriate tax avoidance. The subject matter had been agreed for weeks but the meeting was all the more timely as it coincided with a wider debate on the issue of tax evasion which has been raging all week. After the daylong meeting the President of the European Council said concrete measures had been agreed and he said the measures have clear deadlines. There is a plan to force financial institutions to share information that could more easily lead to the detection of tax fraud. What Iranians wants from next president The new president in Iran will take office in a few weeks and naturally will make some changes both in domestic and international policies. Experts believe the new administration should be seen by other countries as a chance for resetting ties with Iran. Ordinary people say, under any circumstances Iran must keep its principle and at the same time efforts must be made to remove or ease the unilateral sanctions of the west. Iran\\\'s president-elect Hassan Rohani says he will seek \\\"constructive interaction\\\" with the world through a moderate policy after he takes the oath of office in early August. Rohani, who was speaking in his first press conference on Monday, said his administration of \\\"Prudence and Hope\\\" will follow a \\\"moderate\\\" policy line in serving national objectives. Rohani, a former chief nuclear negotiator, said Iran will manage to have the sanctions eased by showing \\\"more transparency\\\" and trying to \\\"build confidence\\\" with the world. He added that the era of sanctions is over and emphasized that Iran\\\'s nuclear energy activities have been legal and in line with international regulations. Rohani said the Iranian people created a new opportunity for interaction with the world through their active participation and mass turnout in the election. Rohani added that in its foreign policy his administration would give priority to \\\"amicable and close\\\" relations with all neighboring countries based on good neighborliness, and mutual respect and interests. The president-elect said any negotiation with the US must be based on \\\"mutual respect and interests\\\" and meet certain conditions.

Appealing to an angry public due to difficult economic and social circumstances, president Morsi started his speech by admitting failures of the presidency in his first year in office and apologizing for recurrent shortages of key oil products and power outages. While enumerating the challenges Egypt faces, magnified by what he described as the Egyptian revolution\'s enemies at home and abroad, Morsi admitted that he had made a lot of mistakes. The Egyptian president said he is working on the necessity of correcting those mistakes.

Iran\'s outgoing President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has held talks with the Russian President at the Kremlin. They discussed bilateral ties between Moscow and Tehran, and in particular financial and energy sectors. The two leaders talked about the need to increase cooperation. They also stressed the importance of economic cooperation. The Iranian leader said that existing administrative obstacles can be overcome through joint efforts.
