Syria\\\'s official news agency, SANA, has lashed out at the US for condemning the government for airstrikes in the northern city of Aleppo. SANA says Washington views the unrest in Syria in a partial, biased way, ignoring crimes committed by militants fighting the government. On Monday, Washington condemned as QUOTE \\\"indiscriminate\\\" the bombings of Aleppo which have reportedly been taking place for the past nine days. The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says 15 people have been killed in the latest airstrikes, bringing the total death toll to over 360 during the period. The group blames the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for the bombings. Damascus has not made any comments yet. Press TV can not independently verify the group\\\'s claims.

A group of youth revolutionaries, lawyers and rights activist have rallied in the Yemeni capital Sana\'a condemning the purchase of Yemeni Liquefied Natural Gas by France way below the international price market. The protesters slammed the French company, TOTAL for depriving Yemen of full and fair compensation for its L-N-G sales. Yemeni protesters called for an immediate end to the L-N-G contract between their country and TOTAL. For the past 19 years the French giant has been purchasing L-N-G for 3 dollars per million BTU. Reports say that\'s 11 dollars less than the average international market price of L-N-G sales.

A senior Iranian cleric has strongly criticized western countries in particular the United States for supporting Israel's aggression. Addressing Tehran's Friday Congregational Prayer, Ayatollah Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani criticized the US and France for arming Israel with nuclear weapons. Rafsanjani reproached Britain as primarily responsible for Israel's occupation of Palestinian lands. The Head of the Assembly of Experts also censured the United Nations for its inaction regarding the situation in Palestine, condemning the international body for having officially divided Palestine. In September 1947, the United Nations Special Committee on Palestine (UNSCOP) reported in favor of the partition of Palestine. On November 29, 1947, the UN General Assembly ratified the suggestion, which envisaged the creation of two states, one Arab and one Jewish. At Friday prayer, Rafsanjani also criticized Arab silence in face of Israeli aggression. He noted that the Palestinian struggle would finally bear fruit, calling Palestinians a model for all resistance movements. President: Gaza, Test Field for So-Called Human Rights Advocates TEHRAN (FNA)- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Saturday night that Gaza is a test field for the so-called human rights advocates proving invalidity of their claims for supporting human rights. He made the remarks commenting on Saturday's savage attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza when Israeli F-16 bombers attacked the city and fired around 30 missiles into the densely populated areas of Gaza. The attacks killed 225 people and wounded 400 others. The horrific brutality of Israel against civilians have triggered international outrage and shocked world public opinion. "All theories of secularism, humanism and liberalism have proved to be inefficient in the test field of Palestine, Gaza Strip in particular," the president said according to the Islamic republic news agency. Addressing a local seminar, he added, "We have witnessed today in news reports that the innocent Gazans were surrendered by the most savage and indecent people of history." Condemning Israeli leaders for their crimes against humanity, President Ahmadinejad strongly criticized the indifference of the United Nations Security Council and those of the Western countries towards the Israeli war crimes in Gaza. "Those who issue a resolution when their pets are hit by a car, showed no reaction to the slaughter of the women and children who are deprived of the least living facilities," said the president. He added that the world should mourn the massacre of innocent people in Gaza. "The ideology of Zionism and its dominance have reached the end line. Zionists are at the end of the road both in theory and practice in all economic, political, military and cultural terms," President Ahmadinejad added.
