The deputy of Imam Mahdi (A) highlights the need of Imam Mahdi (A). Today, humanity is exhausted, humanity is tired of all the \"isms\", of all the ideologies, of all the broken methodologies, of all the theories. While scientific development and technology may have brought convenience to our lives, it is not the solution. We all feel the void of Imam in our lives and yearn for his reappearance.

over a 1,000 people came together in front of the US Consulate Toronto, Canada to stand for international law, and against a Israeli-only Jerusalem. People from all walks of life, Jews, Christians, Muslims and other faiths, joined together to send the message “Hands Off Al Quds/Jerusalem.” Their message is that USA decision to name Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and to relocate the US embassy has innumerable serious consequences.
This emergency rally was one among a number happening across Canada including in Montreal, Ottawa, London, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. All around the world, citizens are coming together in front of US diplomatic office to speak out against Trump\'s unilateral and illegal recognition of Jerusalem.
Trump administration’s plans run counter to longstanding international consensus. It is a major violation of many United Nations Security Council resolutions) and the principles of international law, which consider all Israeli actions and laws aimed at changing the legal and historical status of East Jerusalem null and void. These resolutions ban the establishment of diplomatic missions, the transfer of embassies or the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
These resolutions consider East Jerusalem as an integral part of the Palestinian territory occupied in 1967. Any recognition of the city of Jerusalem as the capital of the occupying power, the establishment of any diplomatic mission in Jerusalem or its transfer to the city is a violation of International law and the Fourth Geneva Convention
On November 30, 2017, the UN General Assembly last week voted overwhelmingly that “any actions taken by Israel, the occupying Power, to impose its laws, jurisdiction and administration on the Holy City of Jerusalem are illegal and therefore null and void and have no validity whatsoever.” The rally is important said organizers not only because of the Trump Administration decision, but because, Canada was one of just six countries that voted against this resolution on Jerusalem.
Canadians have clearly spoken that the Canadian government is out of line with public opinion when it comes to Palestine. In a March 2017 EKOS poll, Canadians indicated they believe overwhelmingly that sanctions are a reasonable way for Canada to censure countries violating international law and human rights, and a strong majority of Canadians believe that government sanctions on Israel would be reasonable.
The message is that the Canadian government’s decision not to follow the US example is not enough. Canada has an obligation to condemn the actions of the US government based on Article 1 of the Geneva Convention which requires that Canada \"ensure compliance\" with the Geneva Convention by other High Contracting Parties.\" This makes it essential that the Canadian government issue a clear statement condemning the action of the US government, and to publicly and diplomatically oppose all foreign embassies in Jerusalem.
Speakers were from the Palestinian and Arab communities, the United Church of Canada, the Muslim community, the Jewish community, labour, the Canadian Federation of Students (Ontario), the Christian Peacemaker Teams, Solidarity Against Fascism Everywhere, Canadian Peace Congress, and others who stand for justice and international law. Over 40 groups endorsed today’s emergency action to speak against the move for a Israeli exclusive Jerusalem, and for a universal city where all are welcome.

US becoming a police state - Cindy Sheehan - Jun 14, 2011 - English

The United States is slowly turning into a 'police state' and people are being controlled more and more by police state apparatus, an American peace activist says.
"We have to go through full body X-ray machines to get on flights," Cindy Sheehan told Press TV's US desk on Monday.
On Tuesday morning, over a dozen SWAT -- Special Weapons and Tactics -- officers broke into a house in California and detained a man, handcuffed him, put him and his three children, aged 3, 7 and 11, in a cruiser and commenced to search his house, she said.
The man was questioned for hours, all because of his ex-wife's overdue student loans.
Sheehan described the incident as “oppressive.”
"Of course we have seen such [incidents]. When we had a demo at the G-20, the last one was in Pittsburg, and there were more heavily armed police officers… I myself was there. I got tear gassed, I got shot at with rubber bullets, chased by the police just for exercising our freedom of speech!"
"The most damning thing that shows that the United States is in the process of [a] police state is the recent passage of the USA Patriot Act which basically makes the Constitution of the United States null and void," said Sheehan.
A SWAT team is an elite tactical unit in various national law enforcement departments. They are trained to perform high-risk operations that fall outside of the abilities of regular officers.
The first SWAT team in the US was established in the Los Angeles Police Department in 1968.

Inner Revolutions | Muslim Americans and the Legacy of Imam Khomeini (r)
I Wanted Him to Adopt Me
Marilyn Reed was mothering three children on her own in 1977 when she first learned about Islam.
“My life was a typical life of people who are not following any type of moral code. I wasn’t living a correct life. And I had become disenchanted with how life was going. I began to question myself: why was I doing the things I was doing? I looked at my three children and didn’t want them to grow up wrong. My family was Christian but I never saw them go to church. I always believed in one God, so I asked to be guided to the Truth.’”
The next day on her way to work, Reed exchanged greetings with a man on the sidewalk. She later discovered he was a student at the law school where she worked. He came into her office, the two remembered each other, and he began to tell her about about Islam.
“I asked him questions: ‘why were we created? what was the purpose of life?’ His answers began to fill a void in me. I fell in love with what he was telling me, the knowledge – not him. He was just an instrument that guided me to Islam.”
Two months later, Reed became a Muslim. She changed her name to Najah Siddiq, and taught herself how to pray. In 1979, Siddiq was practicing Sunni Islam when she learned about the revolution in Iran.
“I had a lot of Muslim friends and we all knew this was a true revolution, but we held on to our Sunni beliefs. Some went over to Saudi to be educated, and this put doubt in their minds about the Shia.”
After the revolution, Siddiq began to attend programs at the Islamic Education Center in Maryland.
“It felt so alive. There were lots of speeches, and I took my children every week. This experience opened my eyes more.”
Siddiq says she doesn’t know how she got invited to Iran. Others in her group were public speakers. But she felt like Allah invited her there to be a witness.
“Meeting Imam Khomeini reminded me of the covenant we made to Allah before we came into this existence, when we were in a pure state. That this life is a journey, and we should strive to do those things that will get us back to that pure energy so that when we go back to Allah (swt), we’ll have that purity forever in the akhirah (afterlife).”
