These photos show the remaining pieces of the unmanned US surveillance drone and also show fighters celebrating the US loss of one of its spy drones. These picture were posted on twitter.
Another drone crashed on Saturday in Qaw, a village located 20 kilometers west of the port city of Bossasso in the northern Puntland region.
The United States claims to be targeting militants with its assassination drone attacks overseas, but reports indicate the airstrikes have mostly led to civilian casualties in Somalia and several other Muslim countries.
Anti drone activists say that Somalia does not need US interference, especially its drone programs. They say the unmanned aircraft has caused more harm than good. A security expert says that the UAVs have led to higher civilian deaths in Somalia since its inception.

Somalia is witnessing yet another day of deadly violence. A car blast in the capital has left at least two people dead.
A lawmaker identified as Warsame Faysal and a driver were killed in the blast that rocked the entrance of the presidential palace in Mogadishu. Witnesses say the explosives were planted under the car and went off when the driver got into it. Violence in Somalia has been on the rise ahead of the elections in January. On Thursday, a vehicle packed with explosives rammed into two pick-up trucks carrying Marine Forces in a busy market area in the northern Puntland region, leaving nine people dead and nearly 40 others injured.

Washington has been using drones in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen and Somalia and claims that it is targeting militants, but civilians are the main victims of the attacks. Figures show that the American drone strikes killed at least 212 people in Yemen and Pakistan in the month of May. The aerial attacks were initiated by former US President George W. Bush but have escalated under President Barack Obama.
Press TV has conducted an interview with Naveed Ahmad, defense and diplomacy analyst from Islamabad, to further discuss the issue.

In southern Somali town of Jowhar, hundreds of families and farmers have been displaced after a river burst its banks in Middle Shabelle region. Those highly affected are the internally displaced persons. Many villages and farms have remained under water as sanitation system has collapsed. The displaced families also raise safety concern posed by stagnant water in many of the affected camps. The local administration says that at least 22 people have been killed due to the floods. Many of the victims are said to be young children. We toured the town to witness the scale of the flooding. In one of the camps, we met this old woman Sahra Mahad, who says she has lived there for six years.

It has been around 7 long years that the Yemeni people are fighting for their God-given right to self-determination and freedom from the shackles of neo-imperialist powers greedy for the geographic and natural resources of the world, namely the wide and expansive Muslim lands.
And so, we will defend the Muslim lands under the attack of the neo-imperialists, the Zionists, and their pitiful Arab co-conspirators.
Whether it\'s in Palestine or Yemen, Afghanistan or Iraq, Syria or Iran, Somalia or Egypt, Turkey or Azerbaijan, Myanmar or Chad, Mali or Libya, and many other Muslim lands, the hands of greedy and tyrannical oppressors can be seen clearly.
The Yemeni Resistance teaches us one great lesson; together we stand, united we remain.
Take a listen to this Yemeni Nasheed proclaiming that al-Quds is our primary cause.
Friends and foes will both thoroughly enjoy.
