What is a nationalist, or neo-Nazi, with far-right terrorist ideologies? Norway's anti-Islam terrorist Breivik listed numerous European Freedom Parties and neo-Nazi parties as allies because of their anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim stance, not to mention several anti-Islam personalities from the US in his writings titled 2083: A European Declaration of Independence. More than a week after the Norwegian terrorist attacks, Europe is finding itself extremely exposed to the threat of a growing right-wing homegrown terrorism. In this edition of Press TV News Analysis, we will examine how big these movements are, and how much of a threat they pose society.

Raj Patel describes a history of the emergence of global food market which was constitutively tied to colonial expansionism and exploitation. The argument is on the line that India's food deficiency developed its severity - on an unprecedented scale - only after the colonial agricultural reforms and its integration of local economies into the global. The severe famines that we saw were a result of policies and socio-economic dynamics, not production technology per se. In other words, it was a construction of ‘distribution’ mechanism. Later, some invested their hopes in the so-called "Green Revolution", introduced since the 1960s in India. With the pesticides, chemical rich fertilizers, and GM seeds that came with it, the yields did increase, for a while at least. But increasing yields is one thing and food security another. The new technology, policies, and practices accompanying the "Green Revolution" made the Indian farmers even more vulnerable. The problem they now faced was not only that of ‘distribution’ but also of ‘production’. More than a hundred thousand Indian farmers have committed suicide due to increasing vulnerability in the last two decades. The Indian Punjab, which was the epicenter of the "Green Revolution", is in a severe crisis today and, some suggest that, parts of it "could be(come) barren in 10 to 15 years." A closer look at the history of Bt Cotton and Monsanto's monopolozing policies and years of neo-liberal reforms in India should be quite illuminating for anyone interested in this subject.

In an extensive interview with Masseer Especial Journal--which belongs to Khamenei.ir-- Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah pointed out formerly undisclosed facts regarding relations between Lebanon\'s Hezbollah and the Islamic Republic of Iran as well as Imam Khamenei\'s command of international issues. The first and second part of the interview have been published over the past few days. In the third part of the interview, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah makes reference to a letter by Imam Khamenei which was deliver to him through General Ghasem Soleimani before the war with the Zionist Regime began. The 33-day war was a good test to see how powerful Israel is and how powerful Hezbollah and the axis of Resistance are as opposed to it. At some point, the Israeli army attacked several Arab countries and defeated them in a 6-day war. In the 33-day war, the Zionist army’s attacks on Hezbollah\'s sites as well as on the innocent people in southern Lebanon were severe, but these attacks ultimately failed, and it seems that this war and the resulting victory became a turning point in the history of the region. What is your analysis of this war, and the defeat that Israel suffered as it failed to achieve its goals. In other words, what directions will it lead Tel Aviv to? George Bush and his associates used the 9/11 incident as the excuse to attack the countries of the region; fir they had the intention of conducting such attacks even prior to the 9/11. They chose to target Iraq on the pretext of possessing weapons of mass destruction. However, after the 9/11, they had to go to Afghanistan first and then move to Iraq. So an American project opened in the years 2000 and 2001. Washington believe that the peace process in the region between Arabs and Israel had declined. The Resistance achieved a major victory in Lebanon, and consequently Israel retreated from southern Lebanon. Iran also became more and more powerful both in terms of its domestic affairs and in the whole region. This was a great victory for Lebanon, Syria, Iran, and even Palestinian resistance groups. Iran was also becoming more power day after day both domestically and regionally. After seeing these events, the U.S. decided to have an extensive military presence in the region so that, firstly they could pursue their interests, by gaining dominance over the oil resources and natural resources of the countries; secondly, they could impose a solution on the region that would benefit Israel and fixate its existence. To achieve this goal, they needed to eliminate any obstacle. These obstacles Resistance in Palestine, Resistance in Lebanon, the Syrian government, and Iran. This was the project they were pursuing. All documents and evidence prove that. Well, after the 9/11, they had to go to Afghanistan, because the determining part of the neo-cons and George Bush’s project included encircling Iran and isolating it. Emotions are running high after a young pregnant woman was attacked for just being a Muslim. Protestors have gathered at the town hall of Argenteuil and they are calling for justice. The woman who was attacked in broad daylight in front of a clinic suffered miscarriage. Hundreds have gathered in front of town hall of Argenteuil just next to Paris and many people here say, racist attacks by Neo Nazi groups are on the rise. The main targets of these groups are Muslim women.

Authorities had deployed over 2,000 policemen across central Rome but the much feared demonstration organized by the Pitchfork Movement to protest against what its activists call a EU-imposed austerity regime drew 4,000 protesters only in People Square. Originally made up by farmers and truckers, the Pitchfork Movement has grown into a network that includes disgruntled people from different sectors of society. However the movement has lately become fragmented as a result of the infiltration of political groups. The anti-austerity protest was also joined by neo-Fascist group CasaPound and extreme-right-wing movement Forza Nuova. Casapound\'s vice-president was arrested on Saturday for stealing the European Union flag hung outside the Commission\'s representation office in Rome. Pitchfork movement leaders have threatened new actions in the coming days.
