For over 5 years now, the oppressed nation of Yemen is being bombarded by the evil Saudi regime. The Israeli spy agency Mossad may have used intelligence provided by an Arab country to carry out assassinations in the region. Israeli sources confirmed on Monday that Mossad chief Meir Dagan's reliance on cooperation with an Arab country was the reason behind the successful completion of Israeli operations in various countries, IRNA reported. The Arab country does not have diplomatic relations with Israel, the sources added. Among the operations attributed to the Israeli regime is the assassination of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement's top commander Imad Mughniyah and Syrian army officer Brigadier-General Mohammed Suleiman. Israel is also accused of carrying out the recent bombings in Syria and Lebanon. Lebanon's Al-Manar TV station reported on Monday that Saudi Arabia was the country that provided the intelligence to Mossad, suggesting that Saudi Secretary General of the National Security Council Prince Bandar bin Sultan played a role in the cooperation between the intelligence agencies.

UNESCO has awarded its annual peace prize to French President Francois Hollande, following his decision to invade Mali without UN approval in order to support a regime installed by a military coup. Hollande claims the war was necessary to prevent a couple thousand religious extremists from conquering a nation of 15 million people. Since 1960 the French military has intervened in Africa almost 60 times, but until now they had never won a peace prize for their efforts. There has been vast criticism over UNESCO\'s choice on multiple levels. Many feel UNESCO ignored how the Malian intervention fits in the context of France\'s imperialist history in West Africa, and also how Hollande has openly admitted that the Mali war is needed to safeguard French business interests in the region. Many are concerned that UNESCO is being used to legitimize a so-called \"just war\", a concept that denies the importance of peaceful diplomacy and makes hasty foreign interventions acceptable.
