Continue the tradition by making them at home this time. #HappyCookingToYou Gulab Jamun Recipe in English: Ingredients: • Lassa khoya 250 grams • Baking soda 1 pinch • Salt 1 pinch • Flour 1/3 cup • Egg ½ Syrup: • Water 2 cups • Sugar 1 & ½ cup • Kewra water 1 tsp • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp • Lemon juice 1 tsp Directions: To make syrup, in a pan add water and sugar and cook until it becomes a sticky syrup. Now turn off the flame and add kewra water, cardamom powder, lemon juice and mix well. In a bowl take lassa khoya and crumble it well with your hands. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and egg and mix well to a smooth dough. It needs kneading for at least 6-8 minutes. Now make small balls of same size. Make sure they are smooth and have no cracks. Heat ghee, and add balls and fry gently and stir continuously. Make sure ghee is not very hot otherwise gulab jamun will not cook well from inside or will burn. When gulab jamuns becomes golden, add them directly to hot syrup. Make sure syrup is hot (not burning hot). Repeat frying process. Add all gulab jamuns in syrup and leave them for 60 minutes Garnish with pistachios and serve  Gulab Jamun Recipe in Urdu: Ajza: • lassa khoya 250 grams • Baking soda 1 pinch • namak 1 pinch • Maida 1/3 cup • Anda ½ adha Syrup: • Paani 2 cups • Cheeni 1 & ½ cup • Kewra arq 1 tsp • Elaichi powder 1/2 tsp • lemon juice 1 tsp Banane ka tareeka: Ek pan main pani len aur cheeni shamil kar ke pakayen. Ab is main se ek hi size ki choti choti golian banalen. Dhiyan rahe ke golian smooth hon aur cracks na hon. Ab ghee garam kar lain aur ek ek karke golian daalen aur medium aanch par fry Karen. Koobideh Kabob Recipe: This is sister\'s Sameera and Sepeedeh\'s recipe I made some changes in the recipe on the video! 8 Servings Ingredients: 2 lb of the ground lamb or beef (my mom says it would be best if you have a mix of both types of meat) 2 onions grated and strained (mom says its really important to make sure there is no onion juice. Squeeze all the juice as much as possible before adding) 1 large egg (beaten) 5 medium tomatoes to be used for later when grilling or baking 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 1/4 teaspoon red pepper tablespoon (optional) 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, mom adds it in sometimes. Also if you wanna add fresh garlic, ground 2 cloves into meat mixture.) Directions: Mix meat, onions, egg, salt and pepper(s) wellz Make sure to massage it throughly. Leave in the refrigerator overnight (or for several hours but its best to leave it for longer). Press the meat around long, thick metal skewers. This is the difficult part. Make sure not to put too much meat on each skewer. It\'s taken lots of practice for my mom to perfect how much meat to put on each one. Make sure the skewers are thick as well. If they\'re too thin, the meat won\'t hold. Thread whole tomatoes on another skewer. Barbeque each side for about five minutes, turning frequently. If skewers are not available or barbequing is not possible, kabab-e koobideh can be shaped into long, thin portions on aluminum foil and grilled at high temperature in the oven. Serve with hot Saffron rice or on middle-eastern bread. If serving with rice, add a little sumac on top. This dish goes really well with the rice dish, so make sure you check out this link!

In a big mixing bowl add the cream cheese blocks, splash of lime juice, and sour cream beat this until nice and creamy, next add the mango puree and beat again till nice and smooth, at this time do a taste test and add powder sugar and do another taste to make sure you are happy with the sweetness, next add the whipped topping or cool whip and fold it in and make sure all the ingredients are mixed in well. Pour this mixture onto the oreo crust and put it in the fridge for at least 6 hours... Garnish with more oreo cookies, crushed oreos, cool whip and mangos!

How to make a colourful rainbow cake roll with delicious whipped cream cheese filling. Cake recipe: 5 egg yolks 2/3 cup granulated sugar (divided into two 1/3 cup portions) 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest 5 egg whites 2/3 cup cake flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 3 tablespoons melted butter Beat egg yolks until thickened and lightened, gradually add 1/3 cup of the granulated sugar, the lemon juice and the lemon zest continue to beat until thick and light yellow. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form then gradually beat in the remaining 1/3 cup sugar. Beat until stiff peaks form. Fold yolk mixture into whites. Sift dry ingredients into a separate container; add to egg mixture, folding in carefully. Fold in melted butter. Divide batter into 6 portions and tint each portion a different colour of the rainbow. Place batter into individual ziplock bags or a pastry bags Prepare a cookie sheet by lining it with waxed or parchment paper. Draw stripes with the batter onto the parchment, decide whether you want to have long lengthways (parallel) stripes or short perpendicular stripes. Keep in mind that if you make a rectangle shape you will be rolling from the long end. My cake covered about 15\"x12\" and I used up almost all the batter. Baked at 375F for about 10-12 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean, the cake is firm to the touch and the edges may be just the slightest bit brown (you don\'t want the whole cake to be brown, that is overcooked). Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly. Flip the cake over onto a clean damp cloth and remove the parchment paper carefully. Place a second dampened cloth over the cake and flip the cake back over to expose the \"good\" side (side next to parchment paper). Remove the top cloth and then roll up the cake into the cloth and allow to cool completely. Unroll and fill with whipped cream or ice cream then re-roll cake. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours to chill completely and allow the filling to set. Keep refrigerated. A delicious traditional Indian dessert that is sweet and easy to make! It will make any occasion extra special! Ing: 2 to 3 cups of oil for frying For the syrup 2 cups sugar 2 cups water 1/4 tsp crushed cardamoms 5 to 7 strands of saffron Ing for the mixture: 12 oz or 341 grams mawa (grated) 3/4 cup soji or semolina 3/4 cup milk 2 tbsp milk (maybe needed to bind the dough) Put it on the stove and boil till it reaches a one thread consistency take it off the stove and keep it warm. 3/4 cup soji or semolina 3/4 cup milk Mix these two ingredients together and keep it aside for about 2 hours. Method: In a bowl combine the two ingredients the soji and the milk, keep this aside for about 2 hours, in the mean time make the syrup and maintain the temperature on low to keep it warm. Once the mixture is soaked in add the grated mawa in it and knead the dough really well, you might need to put the extra two tablespoons of milk in it, start with adding 1 tbsp at a time. Once the dough is kneaded really really well fry them on a med low heat till it reaches the color you desire. If you like the gulab jamuns to soak up all the syrup and be very soft then add the jamuns in hot syrup if you want it not to soak in too much syrup then keep them aside once they cool then add it to the warm syrup and let the jamuns sit in there for a couple of hours! Important Tips: Timings are very important in this recipe. Yeast fermentation required 15 mins. After making Jalebi batter let it sit for maximum10 mins, texture will be slightly changed. Never leave batter for long and do not store it. Use batter within 10-15 mins Dip jalebis in warm sugar syrup immediately after frying. Dip in Sugar syrup for 5-10 seconds. Fold in syrup and take them out. Instant Jalebi Recipe in English: Ingredients: Sheera (Sugar syryp): -Paani (Water) 1 cup -Cheeni (Sugar) 2 cup -Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 2-3 -Leemo ka rus (Lemon juice) 2 tsp For Jalebi: -Paani (Water) lukewarm 2-3 tbs -Cheeni (Sugar) 1 tsp -Instant yeast ½ tsp -Maida (Flour) 1 cup -Orange Food color 1 tsp or as required -Ghee melted 1 tbs -Baisan (Gram flour) 1 tbs -Paani (Water) as required -Desi ghee for frying Directions: For Sheera (Sugar syrup): -In pot,add water,sugar and green cardamom,mix it and cook until syrup thickens. -In the end, add lemon juice, stir well and set aside. -Sheera is ready. For Jalebi: -In lukewarm water,add sugar and instant yeast,mix & let it sit for 15 minutes. -In bowl add flour, orange food color,ghee melted,gram flour,yeast mixture,water and make a batter of desired consistency. Let it rest for 10 minutes and consume immediately (within 10-15 minutes). -Now pour this batter in the sneezing bottle. -In frying pan, heat desi ghee and squeeze the bottle and make centric rings with the batter. -When one side is cooked, turn over and fry the other side. -After frying, immediately put the fried jalebis in the sugar syrup. The sugar syrup should be slightly warm when you add jalebis in it. -Turn over after a minute so that both sides are coated with the syrup. -Keep them in the sugar syrup for about 2-3 minutes. -Remove jablebis with the help of tong and shake lightly so that excess sugar syrup. -Jalebi is ready to serve.
