A protester burst in on former British Prime Minister Tony Blair as he testified at a UK inquiry into media ethics at London's Royal Courts of Justice on Monday. The protester gained entrance to the court through a secure corridor and shouted "This man should be arrested for war crimes!" before being removed by security. Blair addressed the man's accusations before continuing his testimony to Lord Justice Brian Leveson's inquiry.

There was no point of hiding his close friendships with the News International family, so instead he tried to make it all out to be part of the job as it was revealed even in opposition he met with the Murdochs and Rebekah Brooks 44 times. News International paid for David Cameron to meet Murdoch in the Greek Island of Santorini in 2008. That year his friendship with Rebekah Brooks also flourished. They were neighbors and Brook's millionaire husband went to the same elite school as Cameron. Cameron denied ever making any overt or covert deals with News International. He was questioned over why he hired news international editor Andy Coulson as his media chief. Meanwhile three more people, including a sun journalist and police officer were arrested over the scandal. You could say David Cameron sailed through his day at the Leveson inquiry. But then he wasn't really given a rough ride. And what could have easily been a storm seems to have just passed him by. But he did admit his close friendships with the Murdoch's and brooks, at the same time admitting such close relationships were wrong. So it seems even if he just survives, he is a very much a damaged prime minister.

An Islamic TV channel is planning to run an "alternative Leveson inquiry" to investigate the way in which Muslims and Islamic affairs are reported in the British media. The Channel intends to appoint a judge and independent panel of assessors for the inquiry, just like the Lord Justice Leveson-run probe into press standards following the UK phone hacking scandal. The enquiry will examine the link between the British media coverage and the social attitude towards Muslims. The inquiry will follow the public poll done last summer where 29 % of people blamed the media for the Islamophobia and creating a climate of fear against Muslims. In this edition of the show we ask the following question: Should there be another Leveson inquiry into covering Islam in the press?

Tony Blair's testimony at the Leveson inquiry was as measured and considered as ever. David Lawley-Wakelin, a documentary film-maker, who managed to get past security-coded doors to access the judges' corridor leading to courtroom 73 on May 28, pointed to the 59-year-old ex-Labour leader and shouted, "This man is a war criminal." "This man should be arrested for war crimes. JP Morgan paid (Mr. Blair) off for the Iraq war. Three months after he invaded Iraq they held up the Iraq bank for $20 billion (£13bn)," said Lawley-Wakelin. "He was then paid $6 million (£4m) every year and still is from JP Morgan six months after he left office."
