On the night of Sunday, May 30, showing a terrifying disregard for human life, Israeli naval forces surrounded and boarded ships sailing to bring humanitarian aid to the blockaded Gaza Strip. On the largest ship, the Mavi Marmara, Israeli commandos opened fire on civilian passengers, killing at least 9 passengers and wounding dozens more. Others are still missing. The final death toll is yet to be determined. Cultures of Resistance director Iara Lee was aboard the besieged ship and has since returned home safely.
Despite the Israeli government's thorough efforts to confiscate all footage taken during the attack, Iara Lee was able to retain some of her recordings. Above is raw footage from the moments leading up to and during the Israeli commandos' assault on the Mavi Marmara.

The shocking killing of Lee Rigby earlier this year by people believing themselves to be Muslims was predictably followed by weeks of media coverage.
Although such extremism is contradictory to Islam, Muslims felt it necessary to again denounce this extremism.
However, there was another victim of extremism shortly after, 82-year old Mohammed Saleem. He was stabbed three times until he died on his way home from prayers.
The extremist was Ukrainian student Pavlo Lapshyn, a man who also bombed several mosques in Britain.
British media has been comparably quiet. Was it because his beliefs were not expressed as Islamic?
This week\'s Islam and Life asks: Which victim of extremism will Britain remember: Lee Rigby or Mohammed Saleem?

22. The public is starting to fight back and demand accountability from its corporations and an end to abuse. The Kathy Lee Gifford and Walmart scandal brought the issue of sweatshops into the national consciousness - yet they still exist. There is a disconnect between what we do for a living and taking responsibility for the effect it has on our planet. Citizens everywhere are exploring strategies to bridge the gap and regain democratic control. - One should never underestimate the power of the people. -

The NATO strike that hit a pro-democracy convoy outside of the eastern town of Brega killing at least 10 people may have been a mistake.
Although the population in the country's east is prepared to forgive the mistake, there is less sympathy is other parts of Libya.
Such incidents may have just given Muammar Gaddafi's spokespeople propaganda ammunition.

In this edition of the show: Islamophobia, anti-Muslim racism and intolerance against Muslims. How such social phenomenon prevails in the British society? What are the differences?

It was an ill-fated day 50 years ago when an assassin shot former President John F. Kennedy. The president was traveling in a motorcade with his wife Caroline in Dallas, Texas in 1963. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Lee Harvey Oswald was accused of the crime and he was later shot and killed by Jack Ruby. Oswald never stood trial. Since that time, speculation has swirled around why Kennedy was targeted. It still haunts journalists who reported from the tragedy.
Kennedy was the 35th US president. He was assassinated almost three years into his term. For many, he\'s left behind an unfulfilled promise.
But Kennedy did leave behind a legacy of tradition that is being remembered for generations.
This week, President Obama remembered his predecessors memory at Arlington National cemetery. He laid a wreath at the grave site with former President Bill Clinton and relatives of the slain president.
Mr. Obama was accompanied by Ethel Kennedy, the wife of Robert Kennedy. Earlier in the day, the current president carried on the tradition of presenting a medal of freedom. A tradition started by Kennedy that he never lived to see.
President Kennedy\'s legacy lives on despite the tragedy that cut his life at 46 years old. There are many who have theorized that his assassination was part of a conspiracy plot. But the real truth surrounding the former president\'s death may never really be known.

You heard the travelers’ tales, you followed the maps, and now, you’ve finally located the dungeon containing a stash of ancient coins. The good news: the wizard who owns the castle has generously agreed to let you have the coins. The bad news: he’s not quite as generous about letting you leave the dungeon ... unless you solve his puzzle. Can you solve it and get out alive? Lisa Winer shows how.
