US Secretary of State, John Kerry has visited Egypt in his first trip to country since the ouster of president Mohamed Morsi. The US government had suspended millions of dollars of aid to the Egyptian government in response to Morsi\\\'s ouster by the military. Under the plan, Israeli forces must withdraw from the Valley - - a proposal Tel Aviv is opposed to.

U-S officials say Kerry will try to narrow differences over a proposed deal that fell through a fortnight ago. The French and British Foreign Ministers are also heading to Switzerland. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has already arrived in Geneva and has met his Iranian counterpart Mohammad-Javad Zarif.
