Al-Quds day is a global event that takes place on the last Friday of the Month of Ramadhan. Protests will be held, banners will be raised, voices will be heard by the will of Allah.
In Islam, if any land of our fellow Muslims is occupied, do we have any duty regarding that? If one of us is harmed, all of us are being harmed. And as Imam Khamenei has emphasized, the issue of Palestine is of utmost importance in the contemporary world. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. And if we are to truly be the supporters of Imam Mahdi (A), then we must strive to end injustice in order to help him bring about a world of peace, equity, tolerance and respect. Al Quds Day is the day to stand for this noble cause.
This year, the Al-Quds day rally must be bigger, more impactful and more urgent than ever before. May Allah hasten the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (A).

Our decision and resolve is that we shall never leave you, O Husayn (A).
A beautiful anthem that depicts the scenes of Karbala. We stood tall against injustice yesterday and we stand tall against injustice and oppression today. We are the sons of Husayn ibne Ali (A). Here, we renew our pledge of allegiance with Imam Al-Husayn (A)!

What is the definition of the word \\\'Zulm\\\' and what do we commonly translate it as?
What are some of the things that come to our mind when we think about oppression and injustice?
What does the holy Qur\\\'an say about \\\'Zulm\\\'?
And what does the idea of falling short have to do with the meaning of \\\'Zulm\\\'?
Does \\\'Zulm\\\' exist in the Hereafter or will it only remain upon this material realm?
Finally, upon what divine principle has Allah created the Heavens and the earth?
In this Scholar Clips, Shayk Salim Yusufali answers and explains, \\\"What Is Oppression?\\\"

Violence takes many forms - physical... symbolic...structural. Hunger is a structural violence resulting from current international trade laws formulated by corporate greed. The various forms of violence also implies that the moral activists around the world cannot afford to focus on only one front - while neglecting other - of the prevailing global injustice. --- Across the world food riots are taking place. Scientist and activist Vandana Shiva explores whether the future will be one of food wars or food peace. She argues that the creation of food peace demands a major shift in the way food is produced and distributed and the way in which we manage and use the soil water and biodiversity which makes food production possible. 17th Annual Margolis lecture at UC Irvine. Shia history is that when we get attacked by Terrorists, with every drop of an innocent blood, we become more fearless and stronger. Down with all the terrorists, down with their supporters and financer Zionists. DEATH TO ZIONISTS - the enemies of Humanity.
We Shias have historically been "the worst victims of terrorism". We never and will never give up defending the dignity of Islam and Shias. We were and are peaceful people. BUT we never tolerated injustice in the past and will never tolerate it in future. We are just paying the cost of being a Shia of Imam Ali (a.s). Every single Shia is ready to sacrifice his/her life and achieve the level of Shahadat, just the way all of our Imams did.
LABBAYK YA HUSSAIN.
LABBAYK YA HUSSAIN.
LABBAYK YA HUSSAIN.
Our lives be sacrificed for you and your grandsons, especially the Imam of our time, Imam Al-Mahdi (a.s). May Allah hasten his reappearance.

A group of young Venezuelan-Egyptians took over the Egyptian embassy in solidarity with the widespread protests that have swept the Middle Eastern country in recent days and reportedly left after speaking with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro.
Although the protest was at first peaceful, it turned violent when the security guards of the embassy tried to intervene. When reached for comment, they embassy officials refused to talk to Press TV.
President Hugo Chavez also said on the state TV, quote, "“They wanted to protest, but they shouldn't have done that because we are obliged to protect all of the embassies, which are sovereign territory.”
After a quick intervention of Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nicolas Maduro, demonstrators agreed to leave the embassy. Nevertheless they
said they will organize more actions until President Hosni Mubarak leaves Egypt.

Demonstrations took place around the country Friday in support of the mass protests in Egypt this week. At the National Press Club in Washington, Egyptian leaders gathered to ask the White House to stand with the Egyptian people in their demands to the nation's government.
The United States has expressed its firm support for the Mubarak regime and although vague expressions of concern for the freedoms of the Egyptian people have been made, an outright denunciation of Hosni Mubarak is yet to be heard. Dr. Samia Harris of the Alliance of Egyptian Americans had this message for Vice President Joe Biden in response to his affirmation of the Mubarak government.
Egyptian rights activist Dr. Saad Eddin Ibrahim called the events in Egypt as a revolution, and in response to a question about the impact of revolution on the United States' so-called War on Terror, he had this to say:
After the press conference, demonstrators rallied in front of the White House to make their demands known. These include withdrawing military and economic aid from Egypt, which is the second highest recipient of foreign aid from the U.S. after Israel, at an annual $2 billion.
Though the world's eye is currently transfixed on Egypt, these demonstrators turn to the White House in demanding an end of U.S. support for the Mubarak regime.

World can not run the way it is right now. 20% of the world population consuming 80% of world's resources and 80% of the population consuming 20% of the world resources. Unfaithful dictators and the puppets of the world hegemonic powers have NO RIGHT to rule over the public. Pious ones from amongst the people should be making decisions on the behalf of the people. The criteria is piety, clean past, simple life style, awareness of what our creator has ordained for us, knows what justice means in its true sense. This is the best case scenario till Imam Mahdi (a.s) takes over the charge of this world.

On the 15th of May of every year, Palestinians and the whole world remember how it all started. How the Israelis' ethnic cleansing of a people and the destruction of a society - the Nakba - was met with global indifference. Many factors made it so, but among them was a Zionist propaganda machine that illustrated the crime committed in Palestine in 1948 as a war of independence against aggressive Arabs and Palestinians.
It is true that the Palestinians and the rest of the Arab people resisted the establishment of a racist regime in Palestine. And they still do. It is only normal. If anyone comprehends the extent of the injustice that has been committed against the Palestinian people, they would not even ask why they are so determined in their pursuit of justice. And if anyone knows the history of the Palestinian struggle, they would realize that this people will continue to resist in every form until they see the justice they have so longed for restored.
On 15 May 2011, the world is invited to express its understanding, solidarity and support to a people that has resisted... and continues to do so, for Justice in Palestine.

Amir Mehdi Kazemi, Press TV, Tehran
These are familiar scenes nowadays in Iran as millions celebrate the birthday of Imam Mahdi the twelfth and the last Imam of Shiite Muslims.
Every year streets and villages across Iran are illuminated on the fifteenth of the month of Sha'aban in the lunar calendar. Additionally special ceremonies are held in Iran's most religious cities Mashad, and Qom.
Based on Shiite faith the twelfth Imam lives among his people but remains unknown until the day he reappears as a savior of mankind, filling the world with his blessings.
According to the belief of Shiites and some Sunnis Imam Mahdi is hidden by God and will unite all Muslims at the time of his reappearance.
They say that upon his arrival he will be accompanied by a number of holy men including Jesus Christ…
During the night of the occasion the believers gather outside their homes. They fill the streets celebrating the event while seeking forgiveness and repenting to God, praying that their hidden Imam will rid the world of error, injustice and tyranny.
The 15th of Sha'ban is also marked in other countries such as Pakistan, Afghanistan and India.
