Israeli forces have handed 12 demolition orders to Palestinian residents in Hebron Al Khalil, which includes 6 houses and 6 water wells. The orders were handed to residents of the village of Sa\\\'ir in the South Hebron Hills. The orders will further confiscate millions of square meters of land from the Palestinians, in order for the Israelis to expand illegal settlements in the area. The village has been closed under military orders and they have given the residents one month to file a complaint before carrying out the demolitions. Human rights groups say that the demolition orders is part of a strategy by Tel Aviv to annex the South Hebron hills to Israel and a greater strategy to maintain military control over the Jordan Valley, the Negev and the South Hebron Hills. A new injunction signed on the 25th December by the head of the Israeli military\\\'s Central Command, which bans all Palestinians from appealing demolition orders to the Israeli military courts. Instead they can only take them to the Israeli high court, which is more costly and time consuming for the residents. They are further banned from using Palestinian lawyers in the Israeli high court. The residents of So\\\'ir already live in cramped conditions in their village as they have been prohibited by the Israeli authorities to build new houses. They explained that if the demolition orders are carried out, they will be left homeless with nowhere to go. They will now take the case to the high court.

The film recorded by a Palestinian resident in Hebron shows settlers attacking his house which was in a valley close to the three storey building where dozens of settlers were evicted by Israeli riot police. In the hours after the eviction Jewish settlers rioted in Hebron throwing stones at police and Palestinians and setting fire to Palestinian trees and attacking Palestinian homes. Most of the violence took place between the evicted house and the nearby hardline Jewish settlement of Kirya Arba

A Palestinian kindergarten teacher from Hebron al-Khalil has filed a complaint against the Israeli military. The young woman says she was severely beaten and tortured during her detention at an Israeli prison.

Palestinians at the al-Aroub refugee camp in Hebron al-Khalil have appealed to the international community to help them with their worsening living conditions. The residents say they\'re facing daily abuse and arrests by Israeli soldiers. Add to that the severe winter cold which has caused constant power shortages and lack of access to basic resources

Israel is building a new settlement in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron also known as al-Khalil. According to residents and rights groups, Tel Aviv has already begun leveling land and setting up mobile homes in an area that is known for its extreme right wing settler population.

[03 July 2012] West must condemn Israeli barbarism - English Human rights group B'Tselem has uploaded a video showing Israeli police officers brutally attacking a Palestinian child, providing more evidence of Israeli violence against Palestinian children. The video shows a border policeman apprehending a nine-year-old boy, identified as Abd al-Rahman Burkan, and knocking him to the ground while the child shouts, near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of al-Khalil (Hebron) in the south of the occupied West Bank on June 29. A second policeman is then seen approaching the child and kicking him. Press TV has conducted an interview with Bruce Katz, president of Palestinian and Jewish Unity, to further discuss the issue.

Israeli settlers poison Palestinians water well - English Villagers in the South Hills of Hebron-Al Khalil were attacked by Israeli settlers from a nearby settlement when they poured a toxic poison into their water well. A shepherd in the village of Yatta noted a foul smell coming from the local well and called the police to investigate. The police found a toxic substance and advised the villagers against using it for drinking water or for irrigating the farm because it would likely cause serious illness or death.

Dozens of Israeli soldiers raided the village of Susiya in the South West of Al Khalil, Hebron while handing 39 stop work and demolition orders. The latest Israeli orders target tents, kitchens, structures, solar panels, a clinic, a kindergarten, a cultural center, and milk production facility. The solar panel plant was funded by the European Union and is the only source of electricity for the villagers. Human rights groups have stated that Israeli policy is part of its ethnic cleansing of indigenous Palestinians.

Israeli forces have arrested a Palestinian boy for allegedly throwing a stone at Israeli soldiers: the boy is only 5-years old. The incident happened in the city of Hebron or al-Khalil in the Occupied West Bank. The Israeli army has said the boy had endangered passers-by. The detention a 5-year old innocent boy is not an isolated case involving the violation of Palestinian rights. There is a long list of such violations including the siege on the Gaza Strip since 2007, arbitrary abduction and arrest of Palestinians; destruction of their homes to name just a few. On this edition of the show we ask: Why the international community is inactive in the face of these violations? What would be the reaction of the US and the EU if a 5-year old has been arrested anywhere else other than Israel?

Israeli authorities will close the Ibrahim Mosque in Al Khalil Hebron in the occupied West Bank on the most important Muslim religious day in Ramadan. Israelis have informed Palestininas that they will prohibit all Muslims from entering the mosque during the most important night of the Muslim calendar \'Lailat al-Qadr\' or \'The Night of Destiny\'.
