Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the secretary general of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah, says the US and its regional allies have nurtured Takfiri and barbaric terrorist groups in the region to break the spirit of the anti-Israeli resistance.
Today, the US, Israel, and the West have a problem, called the axis of resistance, which is embodied in Iran, Syria as well as the resistance movements in Lebanon and Palestine, Nasrallah said in a speech on Thursday
He blamed the US for the rise of the Daesh terrorist group, saying Washington is using the Takfiri group to pursue its own agenda.
Nasrallah also condemned the deadly Daesh bomb attacks that have claimed over 90 lives in the Iraqi capital Baghdad over the past 48 hours.
Describing Daesh terror activities as barbaric, the Hezbollah chief said the Takfiri group takes revenge against people and carries out bombings and acts of aggression whenever it incurs losses in Syria, Iraq or Lebanon.
“When Daesh faces defeat in Palmyra, it attacks Damascus. And when it loses in the eastern mountain range, it retaliates in Dahiyeh,” Lebanon, added the Hezbollah chief.
Daesh takes pride in killing women and children, Nasrallah stressed.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Nasrallah said the West has problems with the movements and people who reject Israeli occupation of Palestine as well as foreign hegemony in the region.
They do not want a united Islamic Ummah, he added.
Nasrallah also slammed the crackdown on resistance media, saying such attempts to stifle the voice of resistance come while Daesh-linked media outlets enjoy freedom in their propaganda campaign.

The standstill in Kashmir has entered its 8th week. Amid a security crackdown and communication blackout, people of the region eagerly waited for a global response to their crisis during the 74th UN General Assembly session; however, it all ended in disappointment.
The international community failed to convince India to resolve the long-pending dispute with Pakistan over the Kashmir region, despite being aware of their past scuffles.
Frustrated over the cold global response to their crisis, people of Kashmir see war as the only solution to the matter once for all
