A newly disclosed document shows that the US Federal Bureau of Investigation allowed its informants to break the law in 2012 on even more occasions than it did the previous year. In a letter to Justice Department officials earlier this year, the FBI disclosed that its nationwide offices permitted informants to break the law nearly 6,000 times in 2012. The numbers represent a five percent increase from 2011\\\'s officially sanctioned crimes. The crimes ranged from acts of violence and selling drugs to bribing government officials. Ever since it was revealed by the newspaper USA Today that a Boston mob boss was allowed to continue running his crime syndicate because he was providing information, the FBI has been required to document the criminal activity it authorizes. But while the bureau has done this for over a decade, other law enforcement agencies still do not.

Der Spiegel magazine bureau - the magazine known for its depth of journalism has released astonishing pictures of the US soldiers but they have reached the public yet. US officials are nervous about when they do. That's because the pictures are show US soldiers are posing with what looks like dead Afghan men. One soldier holds the bleeding man's head up, and then in another picture a soldier is smiling. In a third picture two men are tied together who appear to have been shot at--slumped up against a post.

A new study by the London-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism has revealed that at least 2,200 people, including women and children, have been reportedly killed in CIA drone strikes in Pakistan. Syria\'s war spillover affecting countries thousands of kilometers away: the US Federal Bureau of Investigation is sounding the alarm over radicalized homegrown militants. FBI Director James Comey says he\'s concerned about the militants inside the US who would be radicalized after returning from Syria. He says dozens of Americans have gone to Syria to fight alongside insurgents against the Syrian government. Comey has expressed concern that Syria has turned into a training ground for a new generation of terrorists. The American official has also acknowledged that it would be very hard to track such radicalized homegrown terrorists.

Insurgents in the Syrian capital Damascus have attacked Press TV staff, killing the Iranian English-language news network\\\\\\\'s correspondent Maya Naser, and injuring its Damascus Bureau Chief Hosein Mortada. Naser came under attack while reporting on air just hours ago. He was shot and killed by a sniper. Press TV and Al-Alam Damascus Bureau Chief Hosein Mortada also came under attack and was injured. The two were covering twin blasts in Damascus and the ensuing fighting. Press TV has conducted an interview with Ibrahim Mousawi, director of Hezbullah Mass Media, to further discuss the issue.

Hamas bureau chief, Khaled Mashal gave a speech in Damascus today at an event marking the first anniversary of the 22 day Israeli war on Gaza. Mashal says that Hamas will never give up it's right to make resistance against the illegal Zionist Occupation, he also stated that Netanyahu and Tel Aviv are hampering prisoner swaps, and vowed the Gilad Shalit will not be freed until Palestinian prisoners are freed. A ranking official with the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has implicated "the US, Israel and some European countries" in the deadly blasts in the southeastern Iranian city of Zahedan. Yadollah Javani, the head of IRGC's political bureau, said late Thursday that the latest terrorist attack in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan points to the involvement of terrorist groups under the auspices of the United States, Israel and some Western countries, which seek sectarian division, Fars news agency reported. Two explosions in the front of Zahedan's Grand Mosque on Thursday left more than 20 martyrs and over 100 injured. The first explosion occurred at 9:20 p.m. local time (1650 GMT) in front of the city's Grand Mosque, and was followed by a second blast within minutes. "The enemy seeks out division between Shia and Sunni Muslims in order to create chaos in the country," Javani noted. "One could not doubt the involvement of secret foreign services in the efforts to generate tension amongst Muslims," he further explained. The Iranian official also noted that confessions made by Abdolmalek Rigi, the Pakistan-based Jundallah terrorist group's ringleader, before his execution last month, unveiled widespread US support for waging an insurgency against the Islamic Republic. "Rigi's confessions prove that the US, Zionists and some European countries are directly linked with the Zahedan blasts, because he had confessed that the US wants bomb attacks to be carried out across Iran," he said. After Rigi's execution, Jundallah was effectively disbanded and experts say that the group is highly unlikely to have carried out the latest blasts. It is widely believed that hard-line Wahabis and Salafis trained by the CIA in Pakistan are the main elements behind the bombings. The late July 15 blasts hit outside the city's Grand Mosque, leaving widespread devastations in its trail, IRNA reported on Friday. The two explosions that took place in front of the mosque on also ripped through nearby shops. The first explosion occurred at 9:20 p.m. local time (1650 GMT) and was followed by a second blast within minutes, local officials said Thursday. Emergency efforts are underway to help those injured. It is widely believed that hard-line Wahabis and Salafis trained by the CIA in Pakistan are the main elements behind the bombings.

The video showed an Israeli police using excessive force against a defenseless woman in front of a child while kicking a young boy who is detained minutes later, Press TV reported on Saturday. Meanwhile, a report released on Thursday by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said that Israel has since 1967 detained about 750,000 Palestinians including some 12,000 women and tens of thousands of children. PCBS said that Israel currently holds some 6,000 Palestinians in prisons, including 35 women and 285 children. In addition, one or more members of almost every Palestinian family have been detained by the Israeli police. PCBS further said that more than 200 detainees have since 1967 been killed as a result of medical negligence, torture or murder by Israeli soldiers and prison guards. On Friday, about 12,000 Gazans staged a mass rally, which was called for by the democratically elected Hamas government, to express their solidarity with the Palestinians prisoners who are on a hunger strike for the second consecutive week in response to harsh measures used against them. �We will not rest until every Palestinian prisoner has returns to his family, we will continue our activities and resistance until we secure the release of all of our brothers and sisters who are being held captive by the Zionists,� one of the demonstrator told Press TV.

On the 4th of July 1982, during the occupation of Lebanon by the Israeli Army, four Iranian diplomats namely Sayyed Mohsen Mousavi, Ahmad Motavasselian, Kazem Akhavan and Taghi Rastegar Moqaddam, were arrested in the North of Lebanon by the Lebanese Militia (aka Lebanese Forces, Phalangist Militia) and have since then disappeared without a trace. Iran believes that the Lebanese Militia handed over the four diplomats to the Israeli Army but Israel claims that it was not aware of the kidnapping and they were killed by the Lebanese Militia a while after detention. This documentary follows Sayyed Raaed Mousavi, the son of one of the four kidnapped Iranian diplomats as he strives to obtain some clarity on the fate of his father and the other three Iranian diplomats. This was broadcast on Press TV between December 25 and December 26, 2011.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is now involved in the case of an Iraqi woman beaten to death in her Southern California home. The El Cajon Police Department says the FBI is providing assistance as it investigates the death of Shaima Alawadi and whether her death was a hate crime. The mother of five had suffered multiple blows to the head with a large object. Police say her 17-year-old daughter discovered her in the kitchen on Wednesday, along with a threatening note. Hanif Mohebi is executive director of the San Diego chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Mohebi says the family had received another threatening note but had dismissed it as a prank. Alawadi\'s daughter has said that the note called her mother a terrorist and demanded she go back to her country. Mohebi says the family remains in a state of shock. Mohebi says for right now, family members are choosing not to speak to the media. A family friend says he believes the reports that Alawaidi’s death is a hate crime. El Cajon is located about 2 hours south of Los Angeles. The city has America’s second largest community of Iraqis, behind Michigan. But police say the beating is an isolated incident and the community shouldn’t feel targeted. Muslim leaders say the beating follows several months of increased reports of hate crimes in the San Diego area. They say the community needs to be vigilant in reporting any kind of threat or violence against them. Police say they have no suspects or persons of interest in this case. They have not confirmed whether any fingerprints were found on the note left at the crime scene.

Due to the Israeli blockade imposed on the coastal enclave, disabled people in Gaza suffer two main problems; obtaining a medical permit for treatment outside Gaza, and getting access to required medications not available in the hospitals of the blockaded Gaza. Yasmeen a child of 11, suffered from cancer when she was 9. After a brain tumor, she lost control over her legs and arms. She is home-schooled and refuses to give up on living her life. China\'s national Bureau of Statistics has released new figures on the country\'s economic outlook. The figures show China\'s economic growth was 7.5 percent in the second quarter of 2013-down from 7.7 percent in the first quarter of the previous year and the slowest pace in 23 years. Figures also show China\'s GDP has been staying under 8% for five straight quarters, which is a clear sign of distress. The government is now setting 7.5 percent economic growth target for 2013. Some economists have warned that China could face economic problems because of over-investment in its industries.
