Shaheed Mohammad Hosseini Beheshti was a Muslim Iranian jurist, philosopher, Islamic scholar, politician, and most honorable of all, a martyr. Shaheed Beheshti served as the Secretary General of the Islamic Republic Party, and was the head of the Islamic Republic\\\'s judicial system. He further served as Chairman of the Council of the Islamic Revolution, and the Assembly of Experts. Shaheed Beheshti also earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy, and was fluent in Persian, English, German, and Arabic. The esteemed Shaheed was assassinated and attained martyrdom on the 28th of June 1981, in the Hafte Tir bombing perpetrated by the west-subservient MEK terrorists, along with more than 70 members of the Islamic Republic Party, including 4 cabinet ministers and 23 members of parliament. The founding father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Ruhollah Khomeini, referred to Shaheed Beheshti as a person who was \\\"as a nation for us.\\\" In this clip, the esteemed Shaheed Beheshti talks about two kinds of anger: a good anger and a bad anger. Ayatollah Shaheed Beheshti speaks about a life lived as an Ashiq. An Ashiq is a person who has Eshq, and Eshq is a profound word which cannot be described by mere words, but rather needs to be felt in order to be understood in its most basic form, while its limits have no bounds. It can be loosely defined as a very deep and profound form of love, stemming from the depths of the heart and the soul, which turns the lover subservient to the wishes of the beloved. And so as the Urafa\\\' (Islamic gnostic masters) say, the ultimate and purest form of Eshq is that which is for Allah, the Mighty, the Exalted. Ayatollah Shaheed Beheshti explains in a very poetic manner. It\\\'s time to become an Ashiq and join the ranks of one of the greatest Ashiqs the world and history has ever witnessed, Imam Husayn ibn Ali (A).

We pay our tribute to this great scholar, thinker, philosopher and mujahid of contemporary history - Sayyid Mohammad Husayni Beheshti. He was an invaluable asset of Islam and Islamic Revolution. Indeed he was one of the pillars of the Islamic system. Shaheed Beheshti\'s services of Islam will be remembered by the generations to come. He was martyred in a bomb blast on 28 June 1981 at the hands of the stooges and agents of the United States of America. #DeathToAmerica

This video clip, provided to you through MrMehdi Thaqalayn Production on YouTube, is a very rare interview with Ayatollah Sayyed Shahid Dr. Muhammad Huseiney Beheshtey. The topic in this interview, which was held during the beginning of 1980s, was to discuss and present the Main Governmental Laws in Iran. He was one of the strongest pillars that the Islamic revolution in Iran relied on. This revolution was successfully accomplished year 1979, and transformed the constitutional monarchy of Iran, led by the Shah (King) Muhammad Reza Pahlawi, to an Islamic Republic by referendum. Ayatollah Dr. Beheshtey was a highly educated scholar. He was born in 1929 in Esfahan, Iran. He dedicated his life for religious and humanitarian studies and reached the level of an academic doctor. He managed five languages fluently; Persian, Arabic, English, Germany and French. He was highly active during his life, and due to that and his endless knowledge the scholars in Qom (Iran) asked him to move to Germany to lead and organize the Muslim society in Hamburg. In 1966 he moved to Hamburg and in five years he founded many Islamic movements and he also managed to found a mosque there. In 1971 he moved back to Iran. Due to the instable political situation he was under house arrest by the governmental intelligence (Savak) then, which feared such a strong personality. This house arrest continued till the revolution was successfully accomplished. Year 1982, i.e. three years after the revolution, he and 71 other important personalities who founded and supported the revolution, were martyred in a bomb blast at the head quarter of their party, "Hezbe Jomhoori" (The Republic Party), during an important meeting they were holding. However, the bombing was carried out by the internationally blacklisted "Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization", which Imam Khomeini (r.a.) used to refer to it as "Monafiqeen-e-Khalq", i.e. "The Hypocrites of the Creation". Language: Persian Further, The Commander of the Believers, Imam Ali [a.s.] said: " ...The reward of a religious scholar is greater than the reward of a person who is fasting on days and establishes prayers during the night and fights in the Holy War for the sake of Allah. And, when a religious scholar dies, there will appear a gap in Islam which cannot be compensated except by a replacement of that (kind)." - Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 2, p. 43
