Iran\\\'s Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi says Tehran will respond to unthoughtful and inaccurate remarks by American officials. Araqchi said that Iran will continue nuclear talks with the P-five-plus-one group of countries with goodwill despite the fact that American officials have adopted a contradictory stance since the Geneva deal. Araqchi named blacklisting some Iranian entities and pressures from the US Treasury Department on other countries as examples of that policy. According to Araqchi, comments and actions by US official have been provocative and against the spirit of cooperation, required for the implementation of the November 24 deal. The diplomat noted that Tehran has advised American officials against trying to resolve their internal problems or tensions with their allies at the expense of the Iranian nation\\\'s rights.

Iran\'s Deputy Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchi says he\'s set to meet with the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna later this month. Araqchi, who\'s a member of Iran\'s nuclear negotiating team, said his meeting with Yukiya Amano will take place before the upcoming Iran-I-A-E-A talks set for October 28 and 29. He also said that four experts from the trade, banking, oil and transport sectors will join Iran\'s negotiating team. Tehran and the permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany held two days of negotiations behind closed doors in Geneva in mid-October. The two sides agreed to meet there again on November 7 and 8.

Iran\'s deputy foreign minister, Abbas Araqchi, says the dismantling of the country\'s nuclear facilities is not on the agenda of the ongoing talks with the five permanent members of the U-N Security Council plus Germany, known as the P5+1 group Arachqi-- who\'s also Iran\'s top nuclear negotiator-- says Iran has stressed that the basis of the talks must be an agreed action-plan. Any subject outside the framework of the plan cannot be negotiated. The first day of the twelfth round of the talks between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency came to an end in the Austrian capital Vienna with the two sides agreeing to continue their negotiations on Tuesday. Iran\'s deputy foreign minister has called for a world free of the production, stockpiling, and use of weapons of mass destruction especially chemical arms. Abbas Araqchi made the comments at the 18th conference of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague. Araqchi stressed that Iran is committed to the convention against chemical weapons. He says his country is a victim of the lethal weapons, referring to former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein\'s chemical attacks on Iran. Saddam also used chemical weapons against his own people. He\'d obtained these weapons from some Western countries.

Iran says it is dissatisfied with the slow pace of progress of the talks over the country\'s nuclear energy program in Vienna. Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi also referred to the new US sanctions imposed on a number of Iranian companies and individuals, saying the measures prompted the Iranian expert team to return home for more consultation. Araqchi also said the sanctions violate the spirit of the recent deal on Iran\'s nuclear energy program. Washington has denied that the new punitive measures has violated the deal. Under the Geneva agreement, new sanctions will have to be stopped for a six-month period and previous sanctions partially eased.

The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has opened its Conference of the States Parties in The Hague. Top on the agenda is the organization\'s mission to get Syrian chemical stockpiles out of the country by the year-end for final destruction. Meanwhile, Iran\'s Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham has said that Iran will actively participate in the conference. She added that as a victim of chemical weapons used by former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein, Iran will be influential in the decisions made by the O-P-C-W. Iran\'s Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi will also make a speech at the conference on behalf of the Non-Aligned Movement.
