We completely reject: the effort to equate Zionism with Judaism. We also reject: the effort to equate condemnation of the Zionist state with anti-Semitism. We will not be intimidated by this bogus spin. This effort has been opposed and rejected by the truly religious Torah-abiding Jews. 9. We demand an immediate and peaceful dismantling of the Zionist Regime, and call for a referendum with participation from the Christians, Jews and Muslims within the present day illegal borders of the Zionist Regime, as well as participation from Palestinians within the occupied territories and refugee camps scattered across the entire region, in order that they can decide their own fate. Without this dismantling of the cancerous Apartheid system of the Zionist Regime, there can be no peace in the region. 12. We demand that the Great Al-Aqsa Mosque be freed from the clutches of the Zionist Regime, and furthermore, we completely reject any and all Zionist claims made on Al-Quds Jerusalem. Bahrain\'s opposition group say they\'re going to continue their boycott of a national dialog over the Manama regime\'s ongoing crackdown on dissent. They\'ve stressed that the recent release of the leader of the main opposition bloc, al-Wefaq, is not enough for them to return to the national dialog. This, just days after a Bahraini court ordered the release of Khalil al-Marzuq and said his case will be reviewed in mid-December. Marzuq was charged with encouraging anti-regime violence in the tiny island state in the Persian Gulf. He has rejected the charges. His arrest had prompted the Shia-led opposition to suspend political talks with the regime. Bahrain has been the scene of almost-daily protests against the regime since mid-February 2011, despite a heavy-handed crackdown on pro-democracy rallies.

A key trial suspended just minutes after opening. An Egyptian judge has suspended the trial of the country\'s first democratically-elected president, Moahmed Morsi. The suspension reportedly came after Morsi and 14 other defendants began shouting that they didn\'t recognize the authority of the court. Mohamed Morsi, three of his aides and 11 Muslim Brotherhood members are standing trial for allegedly inciting violence which left 10 protesters dead in December. The Muslim Brotherhood has called the charges fabricated, urging its supporters to pour into the streets in protest. Security is currently tight in Egypt with some 20-thousand policemen deployed to the streets. Brotherhood\'s supporters are demonstrating in several cities and outside the venue of the trial. Reports say at least 20 pro-Morsi protesters have been arrested during clashes in the port city of Alexandria.

In Cairo, clashes have broken out between supporters and opponents of ousted Egyptian president Mohammed Morsi. The police have arrested about 50 people. Demonstrations were also held in a number of other Egyptian cities. Meanwhile, Morsi\'s trial has been adjourned until the 8th of January. The suspension was ordered shortly after the ousted president refused to acknowledge the legitimacy of the court. Morsi was arrested and taken to an undisclosed location after being deposed by the army on July 3.

Now to Pakistan, where authorities have extended a curfew in the city of Rawalpindi, two days after clashes left at least nine people dead and nearly 70 others injured. The curfew was clamped in the northern city hours after gunmen opened fire at Shia Muslims who were holding Ashura processions. Right now all the main entry points into Rawalpindi have been blocked by containers as the Shia community prepares to hold funerals for the victims. In the capital Islamabad, telecommunication authorities have suspended mobile phone services. Army troops have also been deployed to Multan in the eastern Punjab province where one person was shot dead. Meanwhile, Pakistani government has ordered the Lahore High Court to launch an independent probe into the violence.

Egyptian Women against the Coup is highlighting violations women and girls have endured since the military overthrew President Mohamed Morsi in July. The opposition movement discussed the latest court ruling that targeted twenty-one female protesters for their role in anti-government protests.

Meanwhile, two students have been killed in a crackdown by security forces on protesting students at Cairo\'s al-Azhar University. The two died due to the wounds they sustained during the violence. 200 other students were also injured. An unspecified number of students have also been arrested. Government sources have not confirmed the fatalities. Egyptian security forces attacked the students with live rounds, tear gas and bird shots earlier on Monday. The students have been protesting the trial of their peers at a criminal court on charges of attacking the al-Azhar headquarters. Nearly 40 people were injured in similar protests on Sunday.

That well known candy-house in the Hansel and Gretel fairy tale has captured the imagination of many of us when we were children. And now the world\'s largest-ever gingerbread house is bringing back those memories. The tasty house is located in the US state of Texas and it\'s nearly the size of a tennis court. And of course it has an edible exterior. This house was built by a group of volunteers, all in the name of charity. And now it holds the Guinness World Record for the world\'s largest gingerbread house. The group used thousands of pounds of sugar, eggs, butter, flour and other ingredients, as well as 23 thousand pieces of hard candy, decorating the outside of the house. But you might want to think twice before grabbing a bite as the structure packs in a staggering 36 million calories. Better to look, and not touch!

Egyptian security forces clash with and use tear gas against university students in Cairo and in Asyut governorate. Security forces have blocked all roads leading to Al-Azhar University and fired extensive amount of tear gas at students. Several students have been injured and several others arrested. Angry students were protesting the death of two of their peers in clashes with security forces on Monday. Reports say there are clashes in both branches of Al-Azhar University in Cairo and Asyut. The students have also been protesting the trial of their peers at a criminal court on charges of attacking the Al-Azhar headquarters. The Al-Azhar student union has called for a strike across the university\'s branches until the perpetrators of Monday\'s killings are brought to justice.

The Israeli parliament has approved a law that allows new illegal migrants to be held without charge. Under the new law, illegal migrants face up to a year in detention. The law also gives Israeli authorities the right to send illegal immigrants living in Israeli cities to complexes called open facilities-- until they are deported or voluntarily go back to their homeland. The first such facilities is due to start operating this week in the Negev Desert in southern Israel. Migrants kept there will have no right to work. Critics of the new law have described such open facilities as prisons. They predict the new law- like the previous one- will be challenged in the Supreme Court. More than 50-thousand African immigrants currently work in low-paying jobs in Israel.

Iran says it has arrested a spy working for Britain\'s Secret Intelligence Service-- the MI6. The head of the Islamic Revolution Court in Iran\'s southern Kerman province says the suspect was captured following a series of complicated intelligence operations. According to Dadkhoda Salari, the agent has been in touch with four MI6 officers and met them eleven times inside Iran and abroad to hand over the collected data. The official says the suspect is now on trial and has confessed to espionage activities.

The UN is asking for 95 million dollars in food aid for almost a million Gazans, suffering under an Israeli blockade since 2006. Scores of UN projects have been shut down and thousands made jobless since Israel refused to allow in construction material in the besieged Gaza Strip. Palestinians are facing severe electricity shortages and reeling from devastating floods amid the cold winter weather. Meanwhile, the Israeli prime minister has said Tel Aviv will not stop even for a moment settlement construction on occupied Palestinian land despite the fact that U-N Resolution 4-4-6 and a ruling by the International Court of Justice conclude the Israeli settlements violate international law. Is Israel enjoying immunity from prosecution for its violations? Corruption in Iran-UAE Gas Agreement. What is today known as Crescent case was an agreement signed in 2001 between National Iranian Oil Company, NIOC and United Arab Emirates oil and gas company Crescent to sell the company gas. The case is now in International Hague Arbitration Tribunal for corruption. According to the signed contract, Iran was obligated to export sour gas from joint Iran-UAE oil and gas field, Salman to UAE for twenty five years. Iranian officials say that the incentive to sign the contract was signed not national interest but corruption and bribe. According to Iranian Judiciary some of the officials involved in this case have already been convicted of taking bribe in Iran\'s criminal court.

A Saudi Shia Muslim has been sentenced to thirty years in prison for throwing petrol bombs at security forces during a protest against Riyadh\\\'s intervention in Bahrain in 2011. The defendant was found guilty of violence and taking part in protests in Qatif in Eastern Province. Saudi Arabia has intervened in Bahrain by sending troops to keep down an uprising there. The uprising in Bahrain is demanding democratic reforms for the Shia majority. The prosecutor had originally demanded the death penalty and is now expected to appeal to a higher court.

Families of the Martyrs of the Tunisian revolution have come from across the country to demonstrate in front of the Military court of Tunis. Parents and lawyers have condemned the liberation of the officers who had shot hundreds of young men and women three years ago. Angry Protesters and human rights activists have called for the extradition of the former dictator Zine El Abidine Ben Ali who escaped to Saudi Arabia in January 2011.

Missing person issue is intensifying across Pakistan as families of the missing have taken to the streets of Punjab\'s Mandi Bahauddin in protest against government and court\'s failure to release the abducted persons.

Criticism is ramping up against the military-backed government as anti-regime protests continued across Egypt for the fifth consecutive day. The demonstrations come as part of the \\\'week of rage\\\' rallies called for by the anti-coup alliance. Protesters chanted slogans against the army which ousted president Mohamed Morsi.T hey also demanded the release of their fellow students who were detained by security forces. On Tuesday, security forces took 16 student protesters to court over alleged accusations of protesting without permission.

The complaint is related to the overthrow of former president Mohammed Morsi by Egypt\\\'s military-led government. It accuses the regime of crimes against humanity during the crackdown on protesters. Our correspondent Eisa Ali attended a press conference in London, where the lawyers announced their decision.

Rights activists have repeatedly called for key figures behind the 2003 invasion of Iraq to be put on trial. Britain, along with the US, attacked Iraq under the pretext that the regime of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction. And now to further show the atrocities committed during the war, the International Criminal Court has been asked to investigate allegations of abuse and torture by British forces in the war-torn country.

A Palestinian teenager has been brutally attacked by Israeli settlers, and arrested by Israeli soldiers. The teenager was then taken to an Israeli court, where he\'s been forced to sign a document to plead guilty of assaulting the settlers. Press TV\'s Nel Burden tells us more from al-Khalil.

While Bahrainis have taken to the streets to protest the al-Khalifa regime\'s dissolution of a prominent Shia clerical group, Bahrain Forum for Human Rights in Beirut held a conference to denounce the regime\'s decision and call for reversing the regime\'s decision. Activists have called the move a sectarian crackdown on Shias in the tiny Kingdom, stressing its unconstitutionality. Islamic scholars have condemned the dissolution, calling the regime\'s crackdown on peaceful demonstrators crime against all Muslims in the region. Other religious figures have urged Bahraini authorities to reverse their decision, warning of an eruption of violence in Manama. Since mid-February 2011, Bahrain has been witnessing peaceful demonstrations calling for the al-Khalifa royal family to relinquish power. On Wednesday, a court in the tiny Persian Gulf country ordered the dissolution of the clerical group. Following the move, the al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, the main opposition bloc in the country, censured the move, saying that \"the regime has declared war on Shias.\" Bahrain\'s Justice and Islamic Affairs Ministry dissolved the prominent Shia clerical group after calling for confiscating all the Council\'s assets. Activists and religious leaders have gathered here in Beirut to denounce dissolving the Shia body in Bahrain, amid a widespread crackdown on Shias in the Persian Gulf State. Fateme

An Afghan refugee who was granted asylum in the UK has accepted substantial libel compensation at the high court in London after the daily express newspaper falsely accused him of being a member of the Taliban. Abdol Shazad who is 20 was recognized as a refugee by the Home Office last February after a four-year battle in which it was found that he was at fear of being persecuted by the Taliban. But a month later The express published a story saying that he was a member of the Taliban and posted an online version of the story under which hateful and abusive comments were posted causing great distress to Mr Shazad Journalists say this type of behavior is indicative of the lack of ethics of large segments of the right wing media.The Legal Counsel for the Express, Chloe Strong Said: \"The allegation in the articles was false and the defendant wishes to offer its sincerest apologies to the claimant for the damage, distress and embarrassment which the publication of the articles has caused him.\" The Daily Express has apologized and agreed to pay him substantial damages. The exact figure is undisclosed. But this type of behavior from elements of the right wing press is unlikely to stop as a result For Mr Shazid at least, there has been some kind of accountability for this unethical journalism.

Anti-regime demonstrations rage on in Bahrain, despite the heavy-handed crackdown on protesters. In the latest round of protests, regime forces used tear gas to disperse protesters in Abu Saiba, west of the capital Manama. Earlier on Friday, a mass rally was held to condemn a controversial ruling by a Bahraini court which disbanded a Shia Muslim clerical body. The verdict against the Islamic Scholars Council came in a lawsuit filed by Bahrain\'s Justice Ministry accusing the organization of promoting sectarianism. The move has been criticized by the opposition and human rights groups, who say it is part of the regime\'s efforts to silence the voice of dissent. Since 2011, anti-regime demonstrations have been held almost every day in Bahrain, in defiance of the deadly crackdown.
