6TH International Congress on Health in Emergencies and Disasters in Tehran. Top professors and scientists in the area of disaster control and related fields from United States, France, Finland, Sweden and Norway attended the event to share their knowledge with Iranian counterparts and colleagues. The Congress analyzed the important role of health services including psychology after any disaster. The Head of Physical Rehabilitation Programs Health Unit at International Committee of Red Cross was at the event. He shared his professional opinion on Iran and its capability to manage disasters. Iranian professors at this event talked about response time in time of emergency. They said Iran needs to improve in this area. Recently two of Iran\'s Northern provinces were hit by heavy snow and as a result electricity was cut off. For a few days many people were trapped. The head of Iran National Disaster Management Organization used the opportunity to talk about the latest natural disaster in Iran and how it is being dealt with. According to officials 86 percent of Iran\'s urban population lives on earthquake fault lines and 70 percent of natural disaster damages during the past decades have been caused by floods.

Norway\'s huge sovereign wealth fund has blacklisted two Israeli firms involved in the construction of settlements in East Jerusalem al-Quds. The sanctioned companies are Africa Israel Investments, which is an Israeli real-estate developer, and its construction subsidiary, Danya Cebus. The world\'s biggest wealth fund has slammed their construction activities as a contribution to serious violation of individual rights in the occupied territories. The move is the renewal of a three-year ban on investment in these firms. It was repealed by the Government Pension Fund of Norway in August last year. Israeli settlements are illegal under international law. Recently, the European Union asked Tel Aviv not to announce new settlement constructions. It said such an act would be an acute threat to the progress of the so-called peace talks between the Palestinian Authority and Israelis.

Volunteers of the organisation Stand4Hussain handed out flowers to the people in Oslo, with cards attached to them containing an introduction to the holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This was in response to the sacrilegious film Innocence of Muslims, that caused outrage all across the Muslim world. Stand4Hussain.org is a youth organisation of Norwegian Muslims who aim to spread the true teachings of Islam i.e. the teachings of the holy prophet Muhammad and his family (peace be upon them all).

The mainstream commercial media completely boycotted the Al-Quds day all over the world. Norwegian media too, being afraid of the Zionists did not give any coverage to the Al-Quds day in Oslo, unfortunately so. Stand4Hussain.org celebratd the birthday of Imam Hussain (pbuh) in yet another innovative fashion by handing out free food and painting the faces of kids in a market place in Oslo. Comments by one of the volunteers: The program went very well and better than expected alhamdullilah :) There were almost exclusively positive people who talked to us, and we got a great deal of positive feedback. Not the least the neighbors (the stands), who were impressed with the job and were surprised that we handed out free food and that we were told that we must take good care of our neighbours, for it is part of Islam's principles and values. The questions we received during the stand were of different kinds such as "you are the good Muslims then?" due to the free distribution of food and we were quite happy throughout. Someone else asked if we followed Saudi Arabia's religion or operated the same way as IslamNet (Salafist org. in Norway). The majority also asked about why we celebrated the birthday of exactly this personality. There were also some others who had not known that the grandchildren of prophet Muhammad (saaw) played a big role in Islam and that they existed in Islam at all. Also there was a person who recognised Imam Hussain (as) through Mahatma Gandhi .... SubhanAllah A wonderful experience it was;)

Following the horrific terrorist attack in Norway, we would like to look at how there is an emergence of the far right taking place in Europe which is not being taken seriously enough. There is a growing sense of unease in Norway that police failed to spot the warning signs which led to the horrific massacre of 98 innocent people. Now police forces across Europe and America are being asked to examine the threat posed by right-wing groups which have flourished in a recession-driven climate fuelled by Islamophobia.

What is a nationalist, or neo-Nazi, with far-right terrorist ideologies? Norway's anti-Islam terrorist Breivik listed numerous European Freedom Parties and neo-Nazi parties as allies because of their anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim stance, not to mention several anti-Islam personalities from the US in his writings titled 2083: A European Declaration of Independence. More than a week after the Norwegian terrorist attacks, Europe is finding itself extremely exposed to the threat of a growing right-wing homegrown terrorism. The demonstrators gathered outside the central station, marched through the city centre and reached outside the US Embassy. A few activists delivered speeches denouncing the USA and Saudi Arabia outside the embassy. The demo ended peacefully afterwards.
