Have you ever prayed to the Almighty Allah to make you a soldier of the Savior of Humanity, Imam al-Mahdi (A)?
What if someone told you that you\'re already a soldier of the Awaited One, the Imam of the Time (A)?
Can Imam al-Mahdi (A) win over the world by force of arms; and if not, then how will Imam al-Mahdi (A) win over the people of the world?
And finally, how does \'The Great Walk of Arbaeen\' fit into this whole discussion of being a soldier of Imam al-Mahdi (A)?
Ustad Agha Alireza Panahian answers and speaks about how \"You\'re Already A Soldier of Fatima (A)\'s Mahdi (A)\".
Be ready for when the Mawla calls.
Our condolences to the believers on the Arbaeen of Imam Husayn (A).

We have such a misunderstood concept of who truly are our friends.
And along these lines, what does Imam Redha (A) say about something that we need to take time out for?
What is the importance of associating with brothers that are trustworthy?
What is an Islamic quality of a good friend?
Is it okay to go easy on ones self when it comes to our flaws?
What are we taught in Islam as far as taking constructive criticism is concerned?
Who is truly our worst enemy?
Finally, what are a few steps for us to begin reforming ourselves?
Ustad Agha Alireza Panahian speaks about how \"Your True Friend Will Tell You Your Flaws\".

What is one of the things that will happen on the Day of Judgement?
And is it possible for an ordinary person to end up in the same place as Fir\'aun or Pharaoh in the Hereafter?
Why would an ordinary person end up being in the same wretched place as Pharaoh in the Hereafter?
Is this ordinary person that might end up being in the same place as Fir\'aun in the Hereafter, limited to a man, or can a woman also have the same dire fate?
What is a verse of the holy Qur\'an that is related to our discussion?
In what ways do human beings show their potential transgressive nature?
And finally, what are the divine consequences if one is able to overcome their transgressive side?
Agha Alireza Panahian answers as he wakes us all up and reminds us that there\'s \"A Potential Pharaoh In Us All\".
Allah protect us all until the end.

What was the calamity and trial that was brought upon Prophet Nuh (A)?
And are the trials and tribulations that have been faced by the Islamic Republic comparable to those of Prophet Nuh (A)?
What was the response of the evil people around Prophet Nuh (A) when they found out that his eminence was building an ark?

And how many followers and devotees does Imam al-Mahdi (A) have just in the land of Yemen, due to the Yemeni Resistance?
What is the present-day \'ark\' that is being put forth by the Islamic Republic?

What does the term \'The Logical Republic of Iran\' mean?
Finally, what does it mean when it is said that \"The Islamic Republic Is Building An Ark of Salvation\"?

Welcome to the Islamic Pulse Talk Show.
In this episode we\'re talking about al-Quds 2023 and how \"Freeing Palestine Means Freeing Humanity\'s Soul\".
According to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, what is the most fundamental issue of the Muslim World in the present-day?
What is the \'right to resistance\' and how does it factor into the discussion regarding Palestine?
What are some interesting points regarding the concept of Justice?
And what are some interesting points regarding injustice?
What are some of the disbalances that can be seen across the world in the present-day?
Who is the only one that is speaking about the issue of Palestine and the oppression being committed against the Palestinians on a global level?
Why is Palestine being focused on with such emphasis by the leadership of the Islamic Revolution?
And does this emphasis on Palestine mean that the other issues of the Muslim World are being ignored by the leadership of the Islamic Revolution?
How is Palestine a conglomerate and collection of many kinds of oppression?
What has international global Zionism attacked when it comes to the sanctities of all divine religions, whether Christian, Muslim, or Jew?
What do many Jewish Rabbis say about the Zionist state of israel?
According to the Geneva Conventions, what is the status of the civilians that are living in occupied Palestine, which is also known as Zionist israel?
How does solving the issue of Palestine set a global precedent that can lead to solving oppression in the other parts of the world?
What is the relationship between Zionist colonialist ideology and the colonialist ideologies of the past such as the English or French colonial policies?
Is Zionism a recent phenomenon and what are some interesting points about it?
In what ways has radical Zionism attacked its opponents, at times even Jews themselves?
What is the term \'democratization of fascism\' mean?
How is globalism just another word for cultural invasion?
Finally, what is the connection between the oppression occurring in Palestine and the oppression occurring in the rest of the world?
To answer these questions and much more, we humbly invited Sayyid Agha Alireza from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, to sit down with us and speak a little bit about how \"Freeing Palestine Means Freeing Humanity\'s Soul\".
We pray that all of you have an eventful International al-Quds Day, wherever you are!
And remember, Palestine Will Be Free, From the River to the Sea; it\'s only a matter of time.

We are not supposed to abandon any of our needs, and besides our needs, any of our interests. We are supposed to increase ourselves each moment. We are not supposed to forget ourselves. Forgetting oneself is in fact a divine punishment. “Those who forget about God, He will make them forget themselves.” [Qur’an 59:19] Since they forgot God, God does something that they forget themselves too. When you look at a sinner, you see that he has forgotten himself, what benefits him and his enjoyments.
Each sin means you have forgotten and abandoned your own interests, enjoyments, likings and entertainments. Seeking benefits is not bad, but which kinds of benefits? Your small benefits or the great, lasting benefits? In fact, doing any good action is a kind of being self-seeking! But it’s a good way of being self-seeking and not bad. When is self-seeking bad? If you want your own benefits and others to sacrifice for you, this is wrong.
When is self-seeking good? It’s when you seek your own benefits by sacrificing for others. In the end, you’re seeking good for yourself! By sacrificing for others, you’re seeking good for yourself. This is a correct way of being self-seeking. [You may ask,] “I thought if I forget myself and my benefits, God will reward me. Now you’re telling me to be self-seeking?! Why should God love me if I am self-seeking?” If I want to give you a nice answer, I’ll tell you, “You don’t understand. You don’t understand that God loves us more than our mothers do.”
When we are self-seeking and are successful, the first one who rewards us is God Himself. When a child gets accepted for entering the university, his mother sheds tears of joy. “Mother, you haven’t been accepted. He’s been accepted.” She says, “Yes, he’s my child. He’s dear to me. His success is my success.” “Mother, you won’t be given anything. He’ll leave. She/he will get married and leave.” She answers, “That’s my child! I love to see his/her success.”
How does one get close to God? When you seek benefits for yourself, since God loves you very much, He gets happy and rewards you with Heaven. “Good job!” “Why do You reward me with Heaven? This was to my own benefit!” Shall I tell you the answer for you to be greatly affected by God’s intense magnanimity and affection?
God says, “I have created a creature by the name of ‘human being,’ and you have respected him. So I thank you. You have done Me a favor.” Where in the Qur’an does it say, “You have done Me a favor and I want to thank you”? Tell me the verse in the Qur’an.
It’s truly effective. “I’ve done You a favor?!” “Yes.” “Can anything else be a response to a favor but a favor?” [Qur’an 55:60] “You’ve done Me a favor, and I want to do you a favor.” “God, I’ve done You a favor?!” “Yes, you didn’t waste what I created. You did Me a favor as much as you could, and I will do you a favor as much as I can. You were able to do Me a favor this much. How much am I able to do you a favor? I’ll give you Heaven for an eternity.”
Each sin means you have forgotten and abandoned your own interests, enjoyments, likings and entertainments. When you seek benefits for yourself, since God loves you very much, He gets happy and rewards you with Heaven. “Good job!”

When does an enemy feel that it is the best time to strike a nation?
What is the result when the officials of a country disregard and act against the words of the nation’s leader?
Besides, what was the Leader of the Islamic Revolution\\\'s opinion on negotiating with America?
Furthermore, how are differences of opinion good and useful, at times?
And where should there be no differences of opinion?
Moreover, when a nation has experienced nothing but maliciousness and hostility from another nation but still wants to negotiate with it, what does it say about the former?
Additionally, despite being at each other’s throats, do Trump and Biden show disunity on the international front?
And what do the pages of history teach us about maintaining internal unity?
But how was Muawiyah successful in overcoming the army of Imam Ali (A) in the battle of Siffin?
And finally, why is it crucial for a nation to maintain a united front?
Agha Alireza Panahian speaks and explains the importance of internal unity and obeying the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, as he asks all of us \\\"Are You The Ashath al-Kindi of Your Time?\\\".

==============================
We want to reach the goal that God has created us for. What should we do? From where should we start?
One starting point is choosing your goal well. Moving forward, having the insight to have a program to move forward and having enthusiasm to reach the destination, are very dependent on our seeing the goal. Whenever you see your heart feels cold, whenever you see you don’t have that needed speed and eagerness, whenever you see you can’t find the way and don’t know what you should do, know that your connection with your goal has become weak.
For each deed you should have the intention of getting close to God. When you say, “To get close to God,” you’re saying your goal. Mention your goal, then take action. Mention your goal, then take action. Doing good deeds and worshiping without mentioning the goal is useless. Interestingly you must keep repeating this. If you prayed but didn’t have the intention of getting close to God, you have to pray again. It was useless.
Having a goal is this important! This doesn’t mean just saying you believe and then thinking that now you’re a believer. You should keep remembering this goal and being concerned with it for each act. You should take action because of it. You want to chat with your friend or you want to rest. You want to get up at dawn. You want to go to work tomorrow. You should say it. You should repeat it in your heart. “I’m doing these for that goal.” You should repeat this.
How many actions do you do every day? Can you count the actions you do in your day? “I go to work.” Before going to work, you do one hundred other things too. One is that you get dressed. Let’s talk about getting dressed. We don’t count it as an activity. What is your intention for wearing these clothes? “I’m just wearing clothes. I can’t go without clothes! I have to wear clothes.” “Why are you wearing these clothes?” “I’ve bought them to wear them!” A tradition says that if you wear clothes to attract people’s attention, God won’t look at you as long as you’re wearing those clothes. “But this was the most normal act. This was my everyday coat!” What was your intention today for wearing this normal, everyday coat?”
This is how religion trains us. Religiosity starts from this point. “A person wears clothes to attract people’s attention. Do I have to look ugly? Should I wear a sack?!” No, but why do you want to attract people’s attention? Because of God or because of yourself? “Just forget it! You look at my intentions in too much detail!” It’s fine if you look proper to others. It’s good that you bought good clothes. Whether your clothes are normal, average or good, say, “God, I want to look good because of You.”
[One says,] “But I don’t remember to do this!” If you don’t pay attention to this, you won’t move toward your goal! You’ll also lose the opportunities you have. Then you will wonder why you don’t move forward. It’s because you’re not in a hurry and don’t feel a pressing need. Because of God! After putting on your clothes, won’t you say goodbye before you go out? Why do you want to say goodbye? “But we always say goodbye! Can I just make the intention that from now on whenever I say goodbye it’s for the sake of God?”
Why do you want to take a step toward your goal just once? You don’t want to put effort to move toward your goal again? You’ve become tired of your goal!? Is this repetition bothering you? One time forever? Maybe you want a computer to do it for you?! So you don’t want to become close to God at all. Go live your life.
A person who has a strong connection with his goal will remember it each time. Now that God has made it so simple and you can move toward God with your simple deeds, why don’t you do it? You’re announcing to others, “People, I know God. This God is boring for you to want to remember Him all the time. So don’t come toward Him. My life is boring too. Don’t make your life boring.” Is this what you want to announce? You haven’t gone toward God yourself and now you want to prevent others as well?
One should pay attention to his goal very much. And one should have a constant connection with his goal. Whenever you see your heart feels cold, whenever you see you don’t have that needed speed and eagerness, whenever you see you can’t find the way and don’t know what you should do, know that your connection with your goal has weakened. A person who has a strong connection with his goal will remember it each time.
For all your deeds, you should have the intention of getting close to God. “Getting close to God” means saying our goal. Doing good deeds and worshiping without mentioning the goal is useless. Religiosity starts from this point.

Aba al-Fazl (as) came to say goodbye to Husayn (as). My I be sacrificed for how you’re crying. How did Husayn (as) use to show his affection to Abbas (as)? When calling him, Husayn (as) used to say, “May I be sacrificed for you.” He loved him very much. I don’t know how Zaynab (as) used to call Abbas (as). These were their private conversations. Imam Husayn, his Imam, said, “May I be sacrificed for you.” Zaynab was his sister and sisters are more compassionate, tender-hearted and loving. She was a sister and full of affection.
For example, consider when they were on the way. It was God’s mercy that detailed memories of this caravan while travelling to Karbala have not been recorded. [It’s as if they say,] “Why do you want to know?” For example, they haven’t recorded Zaynab saying, “My Abbas, get Ali Asghar. Hug Ruqayya for a minute.” I want to say, “O Aba al-Fazl, don’t go into the battlefield. Don’t go. I plead you.”
Abbas came to say goodbye. Husayn (as) said, “Do you want to leave Husayn alone?” Alas for Abbas’s sorrows and sufferings. O Abbas, go and see what you can do for Husayn (as). You will have to become a martyr. But at least bring this waterskin back with some water so that you can relieve your sorrow a little by doing this. Abbas had so much hope and picked up that waterskin so confidently that the children felt less thirsty. They told each other, “Our uncle is going to bring water.” “Did you see how our uncle picked up the waterskin?! That’s it. Rabab, hold onto Ali Asghar. Water is coming. The way our uncle picked up the waterskin shows that we’ll have water soon.” When the enemies would beat Husayn’s children while traveling to Damascus, they would call for their uncle! How could they tell the children that their uncle would not return anymore?! He picked up the waterskin so confidently that everyone thought the same.
Abbas (as) expected the same. There is a sentence in history books that shows Aba al-Fazl was surprised himself too. When his hands were cut off, he didn’t care. But as soon as an arrow struck his waterskin, it is said that Abbas stood still. O Abbas, you didn’t expect this? It was then that he begged God to take him [due to his shame].

Abdullah bin Umar met Aba Abdillah al-Husayn (as) in Medina. He said, “I’ve heard you want to go.” “Yes, come with me and help us,” said the Imam. “No, I can’t,” he said. “O Abdullah bin Umar, this world is not worth it. Come with me.” The Imam then told him a reason for him to be able to think correctly. He said, “This world is such that the Children of Israel would behead their prophet at night and live their life comfortably in the morning.” The Imam recited an elegy for one of the beheaded prophets in order to help Abdullah bin Umar lose his infatuation with this world. “This world isn’t worth it. Come with me. It’s a world where such crimes take place.”
What should hearing Imam Husayn’s elegies do to us? You friends who are mourning for Aba Abdillah al-Husayn and who love him, accept this that we have just started our relationship with Imam Husayn (as). The Imam’s martyrdom has not yet affected us. Do you know when his martyrdom will affect us? It’s when we start feeling the same way Zaynab felt when he said goodbye, and she fainted and collapsed. It’s when you take this elegy seriously on the night of Ashura, “Tonight the king of religion is a guest in her tent. O morning, don’t rise!”
Who can be affected by Aba Abdillah al-Husayn’s (as) martyrdom? The one who has this unusual thought the night before Ashura, “Maybe they won’t kill Husayn (as) tomorrow. Maybe. Could it be possible?” You say, “The story finished 1,400 years ago!” But when one has an intense love, his mind functions like this and is under the influence of his love. When he is told that Husayn, the son of Lady Fatimah, was martyred on the evening of Ashura, his life changes. He’ll live differently from the next day. “You’re not infatuated with this world anymore?” He replies, “I saw this world is not worth it. They killed Husayn, the son of Fatimah, and I pursue this world?”

Is the Adhan (call to prayer) said individually for everyone or is it general?
When the Adhan is said, does Allah look at us and in what situation we are in?
And is the Adhan a form of a Divine test?
Furthermore, when does the Adhan occur in our lives?
If the Adhan is unique for every individual, how is it that we hear it only once?
And finally, what should our reaction be when we hear the Adhan?
Agha Alireza Panahian talks and gives an insight into the uniqueness of the Adhan.
It\\\'s time to respond to the call.

What is your purpose in practicing religion? We can mention other reasons for our religiosity. They are right too. But it\'s not suitable to word it like that. It’s not nice or pleasant to say it like that. [We can count them,] “One, two, three, four.” Usually the reasons mentioned are not accurate. It’s more accurate to say, “I want to enjoy more.”
Why do you want to enjoy more in this world and in the Hereafter? Because God has created me to enjoy, not to suffer. God is kind. He has allowed me to experience pleasures and has created me in a way that I pursue enjoyments. He doesn’t say, “Don’t touch it! I want to bother you.” Is God like this?! One doesn’t understand God if he thinks he hasn’t been created to enjoy.
Have you seen how some fathers are a little grudging? God forbid, I don’t want to insult fathers. Or some employers or bosses. For example, a father sees his child is playing. As soon as he sees his child playing, he says, “Shouldn’t you be studying now?!” [The child says,] “You can’t tolerate me playing? You have to remind me now?!” Some people think the same way about God. They think God likes to see us suffering!
What is your purpose in practicing religion? Don’t say, “So I won’t go to Hell.” Don’t say, “I’m forced to.” Only a part of this is true! Don’t say, “This is God’s right.” What will happen next after you carry out God’s right? Will you enjoy it? [You’ll say,] “No, I’m not after enjoying.” You force me to say something! I have to tell you, “Kiddo! You’re not at that level! You’ll go astray with one small pleasure. And now you’re talking about carrying out God’s right?!”
Human beings have been created to enjoy. “Why do you practice religion?” To enjoy. “Is practicing religion the way for us to enjoy?” Yes! Now the second part of the discussion starts. Yes, no one else knows how to show the way. [One might say,] “No, God is showing us how to stay away from sins.” God is not that boring! God has created me to enjoy. Is it rational for Him to not let me enjoy? [He won’t say,] “I’ve created you to enjoy, but don’t touch anything! Go away!” This is a misconception about God! Such a God is not kind.
We say, “In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.” God Who is kind has created me to enjoy. We can’t deny this. Wouldn’t this be unkind for Him to tell me to move away [from pleasures]?
What is your purpose in practicing religion? We can mention other reasons for our religiosity. They are right too. But it\'s not accurate to word it like that. It’s more accurate to say, “I want to enjoy more.”

Do we get disturbed if we see an unreligious or corrupt event at times? What is the reason behind it?
In whose hands is the ultimate control of the universe and the cosmos?
Why was the esteemed Imam Khomeini (R) hopeful and calm when he left this temporary world?
Was his hope only due to faith in Allah or were there other more on the ground factors?
And what does Imam Khamenei have to say to the youth?
Furthermore, what was Imam Ali’s complain to his faithful and loyal companion, Malik al-Ashtar?
And what were Imam Ali\\\'s words of wisdom to Malik al-Ashtar?
Finally, what should we do in times of worry and unrest?
Agha Alireza Panahian talks about the determining factors of the destiny of the universe and placing our trust in the Highest Authority, the All-Mighty Allah.
And remember, \\\"The Present & the Future is Promising\\\".

1- Feel the resemblance between the “Night of Destiny” and the “Resurrection Day.”
2- Be optimistic and pray for forgiveness, our wishes, and particularly for getting close to Him.
3- Be restless to achieve closeness to God.
4- The faithful should resemble the sinful in showing empty hands to God. The sinful must pray like the faithful with hearts filled with certainty as to God’s Kindness and Generosity.
5- Attract God\'s Compassion by being kind to others (by forgiving and praying for them).
6- Be generous by praying for others.
7- Help those in need, and be kind to relatives.
8- Show kindness to our parents, pray for our spiritual leaders.
9- Ask for a good livelihood and the destruction of those who bring about poverty.
10- Join the prayer gatherings with other people, at least for a part of the night.
11- Recite supplications, which are appropriate with our mood.
12- Read some of the Qur\'an.
13- Reflect and evaluate ourselves.
14- Think about the moment when we leave this life and review our will.
15- Don’t neglect remembering and thinking about Imam Ali (‘a).
16- Continually feel the presence of the living Imam, al-Mahdi (‘aj).
17- Plan for our future and changes to be made in our behaviour.
18- The third “Night of Destiny” is the night to pray for the coming of Imam Mahdi (‘aj).
19- Pray for a good destiny and martyrdom in the way of God (if one wants).
20- Make a pilgrimage to Imam Husayn’s (‘a) shrine, or send your greetings to him from far. Pray for the martyrs.
I ask for your prayers,
Alireza Panahian
